THSA provides a range of services to all industry sectors and operates nationwide. Training courses are held inhouse at your premises, or an external venue can be sourced if required. Contact us to chat over your requirements.

We are no longer offering Health and Safety services and now concentrate on first class training on health and safety related subjects.

Most areas of health and safety are offered, e.g. safe use of abrasive wheels, manual handling, working at height, working with ladders, risk assessment, general health and safety in the workplace, employer and employees responsibilities, etc. If you would like bespoke training just contact us to discuss and we can advise whether we can help and propose a programme.

ITSSAR/ABA

Accredited Training -

(forklift, MEWPs)

ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register) is one of the main accreditation bodies of the Accrediting Bodies Association (ABA), recognised by the HSE.

Training available under this accreditation for forklift trucks and MEWPS (mobile elevating work platforms - i.e. cherry pickers and scissor lifts). Training undertaken at your premises using your plant.

We are able to train for the following forklift truck types : (1, 3 or 5 day courses dependent upon experience).

All our courses are ITSSAR Accredited and our courses are designed to comply with ITSSAR standards and follow the Approved Code Of Practice for Rider-operated lift truck operator training ( L117 )

Accredited Training - RQF - First Aid

All businesses need to complete a First Aid Needs Assessment to identify the level and number of first aiders required within their workplace.

We are accredited to provide R Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) and Level 3 Award First Aid at Work (3 days) first aid training, and are registered with NUCO Training.

Courses can be held inhouse at your premises and accommodate up to 12 persons per course. Certificates are valid for 3 years.

Other first aid courses are available, e.g. paediatric, appropriate for Nurseries, Schools, etc.
